1. General Information
All artwork on this website is created by hand by Magdalena Hayes.
Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings or device.
All artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Commissions
2.1 Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the commission list.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due upon completion of your portrait and must be paid before shipping or collection.
2.3 Timeline
Commission turnaround is typically 2–6 weeks, depending on size and existing bookings. This timeframe is an estimate and may vary.
If you need your portrait by a specific date, please contact me before booking — I will do my best to accommodate special deadlines.
2.4 Revisions
Small adjustments can be made at the review stage.
Major changes or complete redesigns may incur additional fees.
2.5 Photo References
Please ensure you have permission to use any reference photographs you submit.
By sending images, you confirm that you have the right to use them for a commissioned artwork.
3. Payments
Payments can be made securely through the methods provided at checkout.
Prices are listed in [choose: GBP/EUR/USD] and may be updated from time to time.
4. Shipping & Delivery
4.1 UK & International Shipping
Worldwide shipping is available. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. International buyers are responsible for any customs or import fees.
4.2 Packaging
All artworks are packaged carefully using protective materials.
4.3 Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on location and postal services.
Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number where available.
Originals typically ship within 3–5 business days. Prints may require additional processing time.
4.4 Loss or Damage in Transit
If an artwork arrives damaged, contact me within 48 hours with photographs of the damage and the packaging. I will work with you to find a solution case-by-case.
5. Returns & Cancellations
5.1 Commissions
Commissioned artwork cannot be returned or refunded due to its personalised nature. Deposits are non-refundable.
5.2 Originals & Prints
Returns may be accepted for non-commissioned items if:

the artwork is returned in its original condition.

you contact me within 14 days of delivery
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
5.3 Cancellations
Print and Originals orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped.
Commission bookings cannot be cancelled once the deposit is paid.
6. Copyright & Usage Rights
The artist retains full copyright on all artworks created, including commissions.
You may not reproduce, resell, or use the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission.
I may display images of the finished commission online or in my portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before work begins.
7. Privacy
Your personal information is used only for order processing, communication, and delivery. Your details will never be sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
